Aglianico Corridore presents a deep red hue with rich aromatics that capture the essence of the Taurasi terroir. The bouquet is layered with dark fruit notes, hints of black cherry, and subtle earthy undertones. On the palate, the wine is well-structured, with smooth tannins and a lingering finish. Vibrant yet refined, it pairs beautifully with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and hearty pasta dishes. Best enjoyed at 16°-18°C (60-65°F).

Story of the wine:
The I Favati winery is one of Campania’s most respected producers, known for its dedication to quality and tradition. Located in Irpinia, the estate is managed by Rosanna Petrozziello, Giancarlo Favati, Piersabino Favati, and Carla Giusy Favati, with the guidance of enologist Vincenzo Mercurio. Their vineyards span 16 hectares within the prestigious Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, and Taurasi DOCG zones, benefiting from rich volcanic soils and a favorable microclimate. The winery blends modern technology with careful vineyard management to produce elegant and expressive wines that capture the essence of their terroir. The Corridore line is a new project from I Favati, designed to introduce a fresh and dynamic range of wines to a younger audience. The collection includes a Fiano, an Aglianico, and a sparkling Aglianico rosé, each crafted to showcase the estate’s winemaking expertise in an approachable style.
