Story of the wine:
Within the San José de Puquillay estate, in the Colchagua Valley, is the farmhouse of Don Luis Felipe Edwards, founder of the vineyard. Often he is seen touring the fields and plantations, always greeting each collaborator he meets on his way. This is why they call him “Don Feli”, in a close and respectful way, giving rise to the name of this family of wines. With more than 40 years of meticulous work, they focus day to day on quality production with the best technology, in compliance with the highest international standards, and the goal of delivering a memorable experience with every bottle of LFE wine. The history of Viña Luis Felipe Edwards dates back to 1976, when Luis Felipe Edwards Sr. purchased the Fundo San José de Puquillay estate, located in the Colchagua Valley, a premier viticultural region in Chile. Viña Luis Felipe Edwards has since grown to be the largest 100% family-owned wine company in Chile, with 1850 hectares of estate vineyards and is exported to more than 90 countries.
