This Fiano Campania IGT offers a lively expression of the varietal with a pale straw-yellow hue and greenish reflections. The nose is fresh and vibrant, revealing aromas of white peach, pear, citrus zest, and delicate floral notes, complemented by hints of aromatic herbs and a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a smooth texture, crisp acidity, and a satisfying mineral finish. Perfect as an aperitif or paired with Caprese salad, fresh cheeses, seafood fritto misto, and grilled white fish. Best served at 10°C.

Method of Production:

Sourced from vineyards in Atripalda, this Fiano undergoes careful vinification to preserve its freshness and aromatic intensity. This process enhances the wine’s natural fruit character while maintaining its bright acidity. A short period of maturation on fine lees adds complexity and texture before bottling.

Story of the wine:

The I Favati winery is one of Campania’s most respected producers, known for its dedication to quality and tradition. Located in Irpinia, the estate is managed by Rosanna Petrozziello, Giancarlo Favati, Piersabino Favati, and Carla Giusy Favati, with the guidance of enologist Vincenzo Mercurio. Their vineyards span 16 hectares within the prestigious Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo, and Taurasi DOCG zones, benefiting from rich volcanic soils and a favorable microclimate. The winery blends modern technology with careful vineyard management to produce elegant and expressive wines that capture the essence of their terroir. The Corridore line is a new project from I Favati, designed to introduce a fresh and dynamic range of wines to a younger audience. The collection includes a Fiano, an Aglianico, and a sparkling Aglianico rosé, each crafted to showcase the estate’s winemaking expertise in an approachable style.
